‘MIDA International has a New Name!’

Due to organisational and commercial reasons, the MIDA International charity trustees have recently decided to register a new name with the Charity Commission for England and Wales.

With immediate effect, we will be known as "REACH South Africa”.

Cheques should be made payable to REACH South Africa.  If you have already mailed a cheque payable to ‘MIDA International’, this is okay, our bankers can accept payments to the old name for the time being.

Providing financial resources to enlarge the educational facilities, to see education from pre-school to post 16 education. Assist with the twinning of UK schools with African schools.



In order to provide the best possible education, teams of teachers and educationalists are working with local schools, developing teachers and school curriculums to enhance learning experiences for all students.



Providing resources for the many volunteers working in support of local organisations in the field of HIV-AIDS and meeting the needs of the sufferers in their homes and in hospices. Practical support will also be provided to child-headed families in developing life skills.

In order to move people out of poverty, small loans will be provided to assist in setting up small businesses, which will generate income for the families. These businesses are in the areas of agriculture, horticulture and craft work.
