Reach South Africa Projects

Children in classroom imageReach South Africa has sent a number of educational professionals, other key workers and volunteers to work in Africa. We actively encourage people from all walks of life to spend time supporting our work.

Working in Africa is an exciting adventure and is both personally and professionally rewarding. We have coordinated short term projects (2 Weeks) and longer term projects. Each project has a clear aim and is validated by a debriefing on return to the UK.

We are happy for people to volunteer to take part in our projects, which run throughout the year. However, we require all volunteers to cover the cost of their visit.

We are happy to assist with fundraising ideas, pre-visit and post-visit support.

Due to the nature of our work and the people that we work with, we are required to carry out check on any applicants taking part in any overseas visits. This may include a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check.

We understand that people who give up their free time to work overseas should benefit in as many ways as possible hence, we build in to all visit a program whereby excursions and short leisure breaks can take place.
